Senior AI Engineer for a US-based client, driving GenAI innovation in tax, auditing, and risk management. Develop scalable back-end services with FastAPI and cloud infrastructure. Long-term remote contract requiring US time zone overlap (2-6 PM CET).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable back-end services using FastAPI.
- Ensure seamless integration with front-end and external services via RESTful APIs.
- Leverage cloud infrastructure (Azure Functions, Azure Storage) for hosting and scaling.
- Implement security best practices for API authentication (OAuth, JWT) and data protection.
- Work on GenAI-driven applications using LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, and agentic frameworks.
- Containerize applications with Docker.
Requirements
- Expertise in Python for back-end development.
- Experience with FastAPI, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Proficiency in Prompt Engineering.
- Experience with MCP/FastMCP.
- Knowledge of vector databases and embedding models.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex.
