AI Engineer Sr

Dayforce is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and productionize AI- and agentic-powered solutions that create measurable business value. The role focuses on LLMs, RAG, vector search, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and cloud-native enterprise delivery. This hands-on position partners with data, platform, security, and business teams to move AI initiatives from prototype to production.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered applications, services, APIs, and integrations.
• Build solutions using LLMs, embedding models, vector search, RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
• Create reusable components, accelerators, templates, and reference implementations for AI use cases.
• Evaluate commercial and open-source AI models and recommend the best solution for business needs.
• Design and build agentic workflows with tool use, memory, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop decision making.
• Apply software engineering best practices including CI/CD, observability, and secure development.

• Experience with applied AI, generative AI, cloud-native development, and enterprise software delivery.
• Strong programming and software engineering skills (clean code, automated testing, CI/CD).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector search, and AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
