Senior AI Engineer

Jeeves, a fintech startup backed by top investors, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build production-grade AI systems for its financial operating platform. The role focuses on designing and deploying LLM pipelines, RAG architectures, and ML models to power features like intelligent spend categorization, anomaly detection, and automated reconciliation. This is not a research position—you will ship AI features that process real financial data for real businesses.

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade LLM integration pipelines including RAG, prompt engineering, output parsing, and chain orchestration.
• Develop and operate AI features in core financial products: spend categorization, document extraction, anomaly detection, financial Q&A, and automated reconciliation.
• Implement structured output validation, fallback handling, and confidence scoring to ensure reliability in financial use cases.
• Evaluate and integrate AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Hugging Face.

• Proven experience building production-grade LLM pipelines and RAG architectures.
• Strong background in ML systems and AI integration in a production environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with backend engineers, data scientists, and product teams.
• Experience with financial data or similar high-stakes domains is a plus.
