Junior LLM Engineer (Volunteer)

This volunteer position offers early-career engineers hands-on experience in building LLM-powered applications for healthcare and public health. The role involves assisting in chatbot development, prompt engineering, and building RAG pipelines. Commitment is 3-6 hours per week on a flexible, remote schedule.

• Assist in chatbot development
• Support prompt engineering and testing
• Help build and evaluate RAG pipelines
• Contribute to documentation
• Collaborate with senior engineers

• 1–3 years software engineering experience or strong portfolio
• 6–12 months experience with LLM APIs or relevant projects
• Proficient in Python
