Faire is seeking a Senior Applied AI/ML Scientist to lead the development of next-generation search ranking algorithms and personalized discovery systems. The role involves leveraging deep learning, LLMs, and graph neural networks to enhance user intent profiling and search relevance for their wholesale marketplace. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize intelligent agents and improve ML model performance at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize next-generation Search ranking algorithms using deep learning and machine learning techniques.
- Leverage LLMs to extract multimodal signals (text, visual) for better user and intent profiling.
- Design and productionize natural-language search and discovery systems with intelligent agents.
- Partner with engineering teams to experiment with and improve ML models for search and recommendation.
- Share best practices in deep learning, agent-workflow evaluation, and MLOps.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience building large-scale ML models with business impact.
- 3+ years of specific experience in search, recommendation, or ads ranking.
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
