Cicero is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build enterprise-grade legal and risk platforms using Generative AI. The role involves developing data pipelines, fine-tuning LLMs, optimizing inference, and constructing evaluation metrics for high-stakes legal applications. You will collaborate with top experts to deliver secure, scalable solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for structuring and extracting entities from large datasets.
- Fine-tune AI models and optimize inference mechanisms for efficiency.
- Design and implement APIs to expose AI-driven functionalities over customer data.
- Construct and manage an evaluation platform to refine model quality and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, AI, or similar fields.
- Proficiency in foundational and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Python, Java, or Go.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling data pipelines and advanced search systems.
- Senior, Staff, or Tech Lead level experience with ability to lead teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Background in legal tech application development.
- Prior experience with early-stage AI startups.
- Drive to tackle complex, novel problems.
