AI Engineer, Manager - Tax Transformation

Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom AI applications for tax transformation at Deloitte. Manage a team of engineers, enforce best practices, and build scalable Python applications with FastAPI. Requires 5+ years of experience and expertise in LLMs and agentic frameworks like LangGraph.

• Define and enforce best practices and coding standards
• Conduct thorough code reviews
• Communicate with team and clients
• Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications
• Optimize code for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Identify and resolve technical issues
• Create and maintain documentation
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of development experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Pydantic
• Proven skills in async programming with asyncio
• Experience in Agile environments
• Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL/NoSQL, Entity Framework
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• One of: Licensed CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or relevant tech certifications (AWS, CRISC, CISSP, etc.)
