As a Customer Engineer, Agent Builder, you will own end-to-end architecture and execution of AI agent builds for strategic customers. This hands-on technical role combines customer-facing engagement with deep agent configuration and integration work.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end architecture and execution of AI agent builds from scoping to production deployment. Design and engineer core agentic logic, guardrails, and supervisory controls. Architect and build integrations with customer systems (e.g., CRMs, data pipelines). Interface with senior technical stakeholders to define success criteria. Diagnose and resolve failures via root-cause analysis. Design evaluation and regression-testing frameworks. Translate customer needs into documentation and drive platform improvements with Engineering.
Requirements
5+ years in a technical customer-facing role (solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, etc.). Strong technical foundation with coding, APIs, and integrations. Experience delivering production-grade customer solutions requiring structured execution and testing. Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders. Comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Experience building with or around LLMs/AI agents (prompting, evaluation, guardrails, tooling, workflow design). Experience with enterprise SaaS integrations (ticketing systems, CRM, data pipelines) and security/compliance. Computer Science, Engineering, or Math degree. Strong product instinct: writing PRDs, defining metrics, contributing customer insight to roadmap.
