Confido is seeking a Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer to build core AI infrastructure for modern CPG brands. The role involves end-to-end ownership of AI problems, including document understanding, demand forecasting, and agentic workflows. You will work with messy, real-world data to produce reliable, production-grade systems.
Responsibilities
- Build LLM systems to extract clean, validated data from complex financial documents.
- Design agentic workflows with retrieval and reasoning capabilities over enterprise systems.
- Develop and improve demand forecasting models using time-series and gradient-boosted methods.
- Engineer solutions for messy data ingestion, anomaly detection, and entity reconciliation.
- Own evaluation metrics, benchmarks, and monitoring for probabilistic AI systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of applied AI/ML experience with production deployments.
- Deep expertise in at least one area: time-series forecasting, LLM/agentic systems, or large-scale data engineering.
- Strong understanding of evaluation methodologies, avoiding leakage, and managing train/serve skew.
- Product sense with the ability to translate AI capabilities into business outcomes.
