Senior AI Engineer

Car Finance 247 is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions, including LLM-powered virtual agents and agentic AI systems. The role drives initiatives from discovery through scalable deployment, collaborating with data, QA, and software teams. The engineer will also shape AI strategy, champion best practices, and communicate with executives.

• Design, build and deploy production-grade AI solutions using modern LLM and agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph and Microsoft Foundry.
• Lead the development of scalable APIs and services to host AI and machine learning capabilities on Azure.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, QA Engineers, and Software Developers to deliver complex projects.
• Take ownership of AI initiatives from discovery and concept through proof of concept, production deployment and ongoing optimisation.
• Stay current with generative AI, LLMs, agentic systems and machine learning, assessing emerging tools and techniques.
• Plan initiatives and manage projects using sprint planning, backlog prioritisation and ticket management in Jira.
• Communicate effectively with Executive Board and senior stakeholders on technical challenges, risks and timelines.
• Champion best practices in software engineering, testing, observability, security, model evaluation and responsible AI.
