About the Role
C3 AI is building the C3 Agentic AI Platform to make autonomous intelligence reliable in the real world. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build systems for deploying agentic AI applications across critical industries. This role involves advancing agent accuracy, performance, and safety, and collaborating with data scientists and product owners.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build the systems, tools, and frameworks for the Agentic AI Platform.
- Advance agent accuracy through evaluations, grounding, and feedback loops.
- Drive agent performance by optimizing latency, throughput, and inference cost.
- Strengthen agent safety with permissions, guardrails, and human-approval paths.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product owners.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in computer science, math, or similar field.
- Strong software architecture and design principles.
- Thorough knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OOP/Functional programming.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- High proficiency with agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
- In-depth understanding of machine learning algorithms.
- Proven track record of applying ML/AI in production.
