About the Role
Brellium is building an AI-powered platform to improve healthcare quality and compliance. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will own and evolve the intelligence engine, designing LLM-powered pipelines, agentic systems, and evaluation frameworks to transform clinical data at scale. This role focuses on production-grade AI with a strong emphasis on accuracy, latency, and cost-efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve LLM-powered pipelines and agent architectures
- Build robust evaluation and benchmarking frameworks
- Optimize for latency, cost, determinism, and output quality at scale
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and tool-use strategies
- Ship production-grade AI systems and integrate with the core platform
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered applications in production
- Deep familiarity with LLM concepts: prompt engineering, structured extraction, function/tool calling, RAG, evaluation frameworks
- Experience with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure for AI workloads
- Strong software engineering fundamentals

- Understanding of modern agent patterns: tool calling, RAG, memory, orchestration
