Global IT Software Engineer – Senior Manager – Boston

BCG is hiring a Global IT Software Engineer Senior Manager to lead the development and optimization of GenAI tools and IT solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software, administer AI-powered SaaS tools, and support proof-of-concept projects. This role focuses on driving innovation in GenAI applications to enhance business productivity.

• Leading implementation and optimization of GenAI applications and IT tools. Collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to align technology with business needs. Administering and configuring AI-powered SaaS tools. Identifying enhancements for enterprise AI tools. Supporting proof-of-concept projects. Assessing and optimizing software architecture. Documenting designs and best practices. Staying updated on LLMs, APIs, and cloud solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 6-8 years software development or IT operations experience. Experience with AI-driven applications and SaaS. Proficiency in frontend/backend (React, Python, Java, TypeScript). Systems design and integration experience. Automated testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest). Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform). DevOps knowledge.

• Experience building user-facing GenAI/LLM applications. Vectors and embeddings (pgvector, ChromaDB). LLM RAG/Agent concepts. Neo4j, GraphQL. CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). AWS managed services. FastAPI and NextJS. WebSockets, SSE, Pub/Sub (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
