Staff AI Engineer

Bluefish AI is seeking a Staff AI Engineer to lead the technical vision and execution of their LLM-powered marketing platform. You will own critical architectural decisions across data pipelines, model integration, deployment, and evaluations, working with Fortune 500 customers. This role combines data backend and ML engineering, requiring expertise in scaling systems, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Lead end-to-end architecture for data platforms and pipelines including scraping, extraction, transformation, storage, serving, and ML/LLM integration.
• Incrementally scale pipelines and systems with safe rollout plans and north star data-quality metrics.
• Translate business goals into actionable data products, draft RFCs, and sequence work into deliverable projects.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, evals, observability, data contracts, and security.
• Mentor Senior Engineers and multiply impact through code reviews, documentation, and pairing.
• Ship meaningful experiments, prototype data/ML capabilities, and evaluate ROI and productionalization.

• 8+ years building and operating production data systems with cross-cutting architectural changes and deploying LLMs at scale.
• Deep experience with Python and modern service architectures; strong system design and data modeling.
