Join Intellus Build as a founding AI engineer to build intelligent systems for the construction industry. You'll develop computer vision models, LLM-powered assistants, and RAG systems that transform unstructured site data into actionable insights. This role offers the chance to define the AI strategy from day one and work directly with domain experts.
Responsibilities
- Build RAG systems that understand construction terminology
- Deploy computer vision for safety violation detection from phone photos
- Create AI assistants that reason across blueprints, contracts, and daily logs
- Design real-time progress tracking for low-connectivity environments
- Build domain-aware AI for safety and efficiency
- Develop verification systems for equipment tracking across supply chains
Requirements
- Recent graduate from top AI program or 2-3+ years building production ML systems
- Experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
- Strong Python skills with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
- Ability to explain complex ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Shipped at least one LLM-based application used by real users
