Software Development Manager, Generative AI

Autodesk is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a full-stack engineering team integrating generative AI capabilities and agentic workflows into product experiences. You will define shared data representations, deliver developer-facing integration surfaces, and design client/server components for safely invoking automated assistants. This role combines people leadership, front-end engineering ownership, and collaboration with product, ML, and research teams to ship production-quality AI-enabled features.

• Manage a full-stack engineering team integrating AI capabilities and agentic workflows into frontend and backend product flows.
• Define and implement shared data representations for consistent use across features.
• Deliver integration surfaces and developer-facing tooling for internal teams and partners.
• Champion an API-first mindset and contribute to platform initiatives including MCP/model-control platform.
• Own client-side and server-side functionality, ensuring end-to-end experience for shipped features.
• Lead and coach engineers in client-side and front-end engineering, including web UI and client integrations.

• 7+ years professional software engineering experience delivering production software.
• Hands-on full-stack experience with emphasis on front-end and client work.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams that build customer-facing UI and client integrations.
