[Remote] Senior AI-Native Product Engineer, Full Stack

Zillow is seeking a Senior AI-Native Product Engineer, Full Stack to join their Metro team, building systems that help customers connect with real estate agents. The role involves transforming ambiguous problems into reliable products, working across the full stack from user experience to services, APIs, and data models, and collaborating closely with product, design, and data partners.

• Turn loosely defined ideas into clear plans with tradeoffs, edge cases, success metrics, and a path to production
• Shape solutions with product managers, designers, and data partners
• Build systems that real estate professionals and internal product teams rely on
• Own features across the stack: UX, services, APIs, data models, instrumentation, and workflows
• Ship with a solid testing strategy, rollout plan, monitoring, and safeguards
• Follow work into production, learn from customer behavior and metrics, and iterate
• Raise the bar through code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring

• Significant experience building and shipping software in product environments where engineers own work beyond implementation
• Track record of owning features or product areas from concept through launch and post-launch iteration
• Strong engineering fundamentals: system design, testing strategy, debugging, maintainability, operational readiness
