Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer

Apple's Computer Vision and Machine Learning team is seeking a proactive engineer to design and implement advanced algorithms for spatial computing and AI. The role focuses on building multimodal deep learning models optimized for edge deployment, using sensor fusion for real-time perception in resource-constrained environments. You will collaborate with researchers to translate cutting-edge research into production-ready solutions that impact next-generation Apple products.

• Developing cutting-edge CVML algorithms that push the boundaries of what is possible
• Collaborating cross-functionally to understand algorithmic constraints and dependencies
• Working with engineers and designers to develop quick proof-of-concepts with novel hardware for innovative applications
• Cooperating with team members to prepare presentations, papers, and talks to explain inventions
• Advising on feature definitions and promising development directions in cross-functional groups

• B.S. and 10+ years of experience in software engineering, computer vision, machine learning or related fields
• Experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch
• Proficiency in Python development, using best coding practices

• M.S. or Ph.D. in computer vision, machine learning or related fields
