Join the AWS Agentic AI / Automated Reasoning group to build next-generation capabilities for code correctness and agent action safety. This senior role focuses on applying formal reasoning methods, including SAT/SMT solvers and Lean, to verify code and enhance agentic systems within AWS services. You will provide technical leadership on a new service while mentoring teams and driving architectural decisions.
Responsibilities
- Apply automated reasoning techniques to ensure code correctness and agentic safety
- Develop and maintain tools using SAT/SMT solvers and the Lean theorem prover
- Provide technical leadership and architecture design for new AWS AI services
- Mentor engineering teams and lead design patterns for reliability and scaling
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience in at least one language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of complex systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or team leader
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
