Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to architect and build a greenfield GenAI initiative from the ground up. You will design and implement AI-native backend services, develop agentic workflows, and integrate enterprise CRM systems using AWS cloud infrastructure. This high-impact role focuses on creating a unified intelligent workbench that consolidates fragmented systems into an AI-powered platform serving millions of sellers globally.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver AI-native platforms and distributed systems
- Develop agentic workflows and AI assistants for automation
- Design backend services integrating CRM with AWS operational platforms
- Partner with Applied Science teams to incorporate generative AI capabilities
- Own end-to-end system architecture impacting hundreds of millions of customers
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of system design and architecture experience
- Experience with large-scale distributed applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong background in Object Oriented Design and multi-threaded systems
