About the Role
AWS Specialist Technology Team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build AI-native, agentic solutions for AWS technical specialists. The role involves designing and operating production agentic AI systems using LLMs, knowledge graphs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration across four products: learning agents, intelligent routing, community hub, and feedback summarization. This is a high-impact, AI-first engineering position shipping GenAI features at AWS scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement production agentic AI systems using LLMs, knowledge graphs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration
- Build and optimize GenAI-powered pipelines for summarization, content ranking, skill assessment, and intelligent routing
- Develop prompt engineering strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails for production LLM systems
- Implement embedding and retrieval strategies for knowledge base indexing and agent consumption
- Design and build scalable distributed systems and APIs for the TFC Hub platform
- Drive operational excellence for production services including CI/CD, monitoring, alarming, on-call, and incident response
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
