AI Product Focused Senior Fullstack/Rails Engineer

Yuma AI is building a platform that deploys autonomous AI agents for e-commerce customer support. They are seeking a senior fullstack engineer with deep Rails expertise to help build and scale their AI agent pipeline and product features. The role involves working on both backend and frontend, integrating LLMs, and maintaining high code quality in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Design, build, and maintain the Ruby on Rails backend API
• Develop frontend features using Next.js and React
• Integrate LLMs and manage non-deterministic AI agent outputs
• Contribute to product iterations, A/B testing, and performance optimization
• Process and scale ingestion of millions of support tickets and e-commerce data points

• Experience leading and building multiple large Rails applications
• Deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem
• Comfortable with frontend work (Next.js/React)
• Recent hands-on experience with LLMs and AI tools
• Strong ownership and pragmatism, with a bias for speed and quality

• Experience working in early-stage startups
• Interest in LLM research and applied AI
