About the Role
AE Studio is seeking a Senior AI Engineer / Full-Stack Developer to design and ship production-ready, AI-powered applications. The role involves building end-to-end applications across frontend, backend, and cloud, integrating LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks. You will also engineer prompting strategies and guardrails for real-world performance while collaborating with a remote team.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship end-to-end applications from prototype to production across frontend, backend, and cloud.
- Build clean, scalable APIs and services and integrate AI models where they create real value.
- Create reliable, maintainable AI pipelines (data ingestion, preprocessing, embeddings, retrieval, orchestration).
- Engineer prompting strategies and guardrails for real-world performance (latency, cost, accuracy).
- Integrate AI features into full-stack apps with robust APIs, frontend UX, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to deliver polished product experiences.
- Continuously evaluate new AI tools/models for performance, cost, and fit.
- Write production-grade, testable, maintainable code in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record shipping production applications.
