Travoom is seeking a Principal AI System Architect to lead the design and development of a next-generation conversational AI platform. This role involves architecting LLM orchestration layers, building multi-agent systems, and defining long-term technical strategies for retrieval-augmented generation and semantic search. The ideal candidate will mentor engineering teams while collaborating across backend, payments, and platform services to deliver scalable, AI-native user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of a conversational AI platform replacing traditional search
- Design LLM orchestration layers coordinating specialized agents, retrieval systems, and external APIs
- Define technical vision, architectural standards, and long-term LLM strategy
- Mentor senior and principal engineers while collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies including vector databases and knowledge graphs
