Suitsupply is seeking a forward-deployed AI Engineer to build production-grade agentic workflows and tool-calling systems on GCP. You will embed with business teams to automate high-leverage processes, establishing reusable standards for agent development. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals combined with experience in LLM ecosystems like Claude and Vertex AI.
Responsibilities
- Embed with business teams to identify and automate high-leverage processes using agentic workflows.
- Build reliable, production-grade tool-calling agents on GCP and Vertex AI.
- Create reusable skills, connectors, evals, and templates to accelerate future agent development.
- Define quality metrics for agents including accuracy, cost, and guardrails.
- Mentor team champions and establish Data & AI team standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python fundamentals.
- Proven experience building agentic workflows, RAG, and tool-calling systems in production.
- Fluency in GCP, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and the Claude ecosystem (Claude Code, MCP).
- Strong understanding of testing, APIs, version control, and observability.
