MLOPS Engineer

Sephora is seeking an MLOps Engineer to join their team in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on production ML system operations, including incident management, on-call support, and infrastructure-as-code. Key responsibilities involve migrating ML platforms to AWS EKS and maintaining real-time ML systems.

• Act as primary on-call for Realtime-ML production stack during migration; monitor system health, triage incidents, apply security updates. Lead migration of Realtime-ML Playground environment with infra parity checks and documentation. Execute end-to-end migration of HarperCollins service bundles to AWS EKS, authoring Kubernetes manifests and updating CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to design and build-out of a pipeline for ML-detected missing buildings.

• Strong experience with production ML systems, incident management, and on-call operations. Deep hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and infrastructure-as-code. Experience executing platform or environment migrations with minimal production risk. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability, and secure service operations. Ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end.
