Senior AI Engineer

Saturn is building an AI-powered operating system for financial advisors, with a mission to democratize financial advice. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will own customer-facing AI features end-to-end, architecting agentic workflows, designing evaluation frameworks, and deploying reliable production systems in a regulated environment.

• Own product domains end-to-end, making architectural decisions from concept to maintenance.
• Architect fault-tolerant AI systems with fallbacks, retries, monitoring, and tracing.
• Design and deploy multi-step AI agents using explicit orchestration frameworks.
• Design, implement, and maintain evaluation frameworks (Evals Flywheel) to rigorously measure performance.
• Partner with domain experts to translate compliance requirements into evaluation rubrics and Gold Standard datasets.
• Instrument features end-to-end to diagnose failures and convert issues into regression tests.
• Write clean, modular Python code and participate in code review.

• 5+ years of professional experience in a demanding engineering environment.
• 3+ years building, shipping, and operating products where Generative AI or LLMs are a core component.
• Expertise in RAG pipelines, systematic prompt engineering, and agentic workflow orchestration.
