About the Role

SAP seeks a Senior AI Engineer to join its A2C Insights & Data Foundation team. The role involves designing and implementing production-ready AI systems, building robust data pipelines, and ensuring scalability and compliance. You will work on cutting-edge Generative AI and agent-based systems, including RAG and AgentOps.

Responsibilities

Work closely with data foundation and analytics experts to unlock the full potential of data in an agile environment
Build and scale cutting-edge Generative AI and agent-based systems from prototype to production
Engineer robust data and application pipelines for LLM-powered products, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Introduce and mature AgentOps capabilities to manage and automate the lifecycle of AI agents and LLM applications
Ensure production reliability of AI systems through strong observability, monitoring, and compliance practices

Requirements

Degree in computer science or similar field
5+ years in Software Engineering
Fluent English with a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset
Proven experience developing and deploying LLM applications
Advanced coding skills in Python or Java
Familiarity with AgentOps tools such as LangSmith, LangFuse, or MLflow
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments (Azure, AWS) using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions
