Senior AI Engineer

Riskified is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join its central AI Engineering team, driving innovation and building AI-powered fraud and risk intelligence solutions. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining reusable AI capabilities, developing MCP servers, implementing RAG systems, and establishing evaluation frameworks. The position offers the opportunity to work on strategic company-wide initiatives and collaborate with diverse teams.

• Design, build, and maintain reusable AI capabilities including models, tools, APIs, and platforms.
• Develop and maintain the internal MCP server for secure AI agent access to data stores.
• Create and implement evaluation frameworks and AI guardrails.
• Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.
• Own projects end-to-end from requirements to deployment and operation.
• Champion AI readiness and adoption company-wide.

• 5+ years of backend and server-side development experience building complex scalable systems.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose language (Python preferred).
• Strong collaboration skills across functions including product, business development, and account management.
• Product-oriented thinking to elicit and prioritize requirements from non-technical stakeholders.
• DevOps experience and a sense of ownership to develop, deploy, and operate projects.
