RightTalents is hiring an experienced Data & AI Architect for a 12-month contract in New York City. The role focuses on designing and delivering enterprise data and AI solutions across a large organization, engaging stakeholders, and using modern agentic development tooling. This is a hands-on architecture position requiring strong Azure experience and multi-cloud expertise.
Responsibilities
Engage stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and shape data and AI use cases into well-scoped opportunities.
Translate business needs into actionable requirement documents for technical and non-technical audiences.
Architect end-to-end data and AI solutions across ingestion, storage, transformation, modeling, serving, and consumption layers.
Design and implement solutions using agentic development tooling while maintaining quality, security, and maintainability.
Define reference architectures, patterns, and standards for data and AI across multi-cloud environments.
Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, privacy, governance, cost efficiency, and compliance.
Mentor engineers and champion good data and AI practices across the organization.
Requirements
8+ years in data engineering, data architecture, software engineering, or a related field.
