AI Software Engineer

Relativity Space is looking for an AI Software Engineer to join the AI, Data and Platform Engineering team. The role involves building AI-powered applications and agents on foundation models, working across the full software development lifecycle. You'll collaborate with engineers and operators to deploy reliable AI systems in production for rocket manufacturing and launch operations.

• Build AI-powered applications and agents on top of foundation models.
• Work across the full software development lifecycle: concept, design, implementation, and iteration.
• Ensure reliability and evaluation in production.
• Collaborate directly with users and stakeholders to define requirements and ship solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Strong computer science foundations: data structures, algorithms, and clean, testable code.
• Hands-on experience building with large language models.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Curiosity and motivation to work directly with engineers and operators on the factory floor.

• 1+ years of professional experience (including internships, research, or personal projects).
