Relari is seeking a Research Engineer focused on Robot Learning to bridge the gap between human biomechanical data and physical robotic performance. You will design and evaluate vision-language-action, video, and world models across simulation and real-world deployments. This role involves owning end-to-end training pipelines, debugging complex hardware-software interactions, and translating open-ended research questions into measurable robotic capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own pre-train, post-train, and evaluation pipelines for robotics foundation models
- Develop and adapt vision-language-action, video, and world models for dexterous manipulation
- Build reproducible large-scale training, simulation, and real-world evaluation loops
- Deploy policies on physical robots and diagnose failures across data, perception, and control
- Improve experiment tooling including data pipelines, teleoperation, and visualization
Requirements
- Strong foundations in machine learning, robot learning, or computer vision
- Experience building and evaluating learning systems in Python using PyTorch or JAX
- Proven ability to turn open-ended technical questions into working experiments
- Comfort debugging real-world data and physical systems beyond clean benchmarks
