Senior LLM AI Engineer

Pure Storage is seeking a Senior LLM AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI systems using large language models. The role focuses on developing business intelligence assistants and process automation workflows, involving fine-tuning and optimization of LLMs for enterprise data. This is an on-site position in Prague, Czech Republic.

• Design, build, and deploy LLM-based AI solutions for natural language interaction, search, analytics, and reasoning. Implement workflows for model lifecycle activities including data annotation and model evaluation. Lead fine-tuning and continuous improvement of proprietary LLMs. Optimize LLM inference pipelines for production constraints. Deploy, operate, monitor, and improve LLM systems in production.

• Experience delivering AI-powered solutions into production. Hands-on experience with retrieval and context orchestration pipelines for LLM grounding. Experience implementing LLM training pipelines including fine-tuning and evaluation. Proficiency in Python and modern LLM frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face, Transformers, Gemini, Claude). Experience with model optimization and deployment tooling (ONNX, TensorRT-LLM, vLLM). Collaboration and communication skills.

• Experience building semantic search, query understanding, Text-to-SQL, Text-to-Cypher, retrieval, or ranking systems. Experience with agentic LLM frameworks. Familiarity with MCP, Agent Skills, and LLM tool-calling frameworks. Experience with RLHF and DPO. Experience with sensitive data governance.
