Senior AI Applied Scientist II

Prenuvo is seeking a Senior AI Applied Scientist II to lead the development of foundation models and multimodal AI systems for whole-body MRI analysis. This hybrid role in Vancouver involves owning model domains end-to-end, from research through production deployment, and advancing self-supervised learning and generative AI for healthcare.

• Lead development of foundation models and multimodal systems for whole-body MRI
• Own experiment design and validation study scoping
• Drive data quality and annotation standards
• Guide application of generative and agentic AI
• Deliver production-ready models with documented validation

• Strong MSc or PhD in CS, biomedical engineering, statistics, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of ML experience with strong publication record
• Expert-level PyTorch skills
• Deep fluency in self-supervised learning methods
• Experience with Vision Transformers and multimodal architectures
• Experience in medical image analysis

• Experience in body composition, vascular imaging, or organ segmentation
• Familiarity with FDA 510(k) submission processes
