• Train and optimize large-scale deep learning models using PyTorch and distributed training techniques like DeepSpeed and FSDP
• Conduct research in representation learning, including contrastive learning and multimodal modeling for search
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for grounding and answer generation
• Push search quality forward through improvements in models, data, and tools

• Strong proficiency with PyTorch and experience in distributed training performance optimization
• Understanding of search and retrieval systems, including quality evaluation principles
• Interest in representation learning, vector representations, and cross-lingual alignment
• Publication record in AI/ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL)

• Experience with hardware acceleration for large models
• Knowledge of dense & sparse vector representations and fusion techniques
• Background in multilingual or multimodal modeling
