Palo Alto Networks seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer for its Data & AI Platform team to drive technical strategy and execution. Responsibilities
Define R&D engineering standards and architecture principles; own end-to-end delivery of production-ready initiatives.
Architect scalable, highly available cloud solutions across AWS, GCP, or Azure using modern data, streaming, serverless, and storage platforms.
Integrate AI tools and autonomous agents into daily workflows; author reusable agent skills for development velocity.
Lead all phases of an AI-augmented SDLC, from architecture design through automated testing, CI/CD deployment, and operations.
Partner with product leaders to translate business needs into high-value software deliverables.
Mentor engineers and elevate standards through architectural guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
