NVIDIA's Metropolis team is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and deliver next-generation AI solutions powered by Cosmos, NVIDIA's world foundation model platform. The role focuses on intelligent video analytics, perception, and physical AI for smart cities, industrial automation, and autonomous systems. You will partner with the Cosmos team to prioritize platform features and lead open-source contributions.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver Metropolis AI solutions powered by Cosmos world foundation models
- Identify model gaps and recommend solutions involving synthetic data, fine-tuning, and architecture improvements
- Partner with the Cosmos team to prioritize platform features aligned with the Metropolis roadmap
- Lead open-sourcing of solutions and research artifacts
- Stay current with advances in foundation models and generative architectures
- Collaborate with Product, Program, Engineering, and Data Procurement teams
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in applied machine learning or AI research
- Deep expertise in deep learning fundamentals, with hands-on experience in diffusion models and generative architectures
