Snap Inc.'s Generative ML Platform team is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer (Level 5) to build cutting-edge generative AI that powers creative experiences for hundreds of millions of Snapchatters. You will develop state-of-the-art generative pipelines for image, video, language, and audio, deliver on-device generative ML experiences, and build AR experiences using generative and diffusion models. The team works across the full generative AI stack, from foundational models and efficient infrastructure to real-time inference on mobile, web, and Spectacles wearables. This is a Los Angeles-based role under Snap's 'default together' policy, expecting 4+ days per week in office.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative machine learning technology and products that serve millions of Snapchatters
- Work on state-of-the-art generative pipelines for image, video, language, or audio generation
- Deliver generative machine learning experiences on device
- Build cutting-edge augmented reality experiences using generative and diffusion models
- Partner with cross-functional Snap teams to explore and prototype new products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS, mathematics, statistics) with 5+ years of post-degree ML experience, or Master's + 4 years, or PhD + 1 year
- Strong software development skills in Python or C++
