About the Role
Moderna is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Warsaw hub, focusing on building developer tooling and platform solutions to enable AI-assisted development. You will work on CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and internal tools that accelerate AI integration into developer workflows. This role involves partnering with application engineers to improve productivity and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain developer tooling including AI agents, generators, libraries, templates, CLIs, and services.
- Design, build, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure, reliable software delivery.
- Develop and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Implement and operate shared builder services to enhance platform developer and DevOps experience.
- Enable and accelerate AI-assisted development by integrating advanced tooling (e.g., MCP-style capabilities).
- Partner with application engineers to identify friction points and deliver scalable platform solutions.
- Write production-grade code in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, and developer experience through automation.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, or related role.
