We're looking for an AI Engineer to design, build, and operate production-grade AI and Generative AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem. The role involves building LLM applications, AI agents, RAG pipelines, and integrations with enterprise platforms. This is a hands-on engineering position translating architecture and business requirements into working, scalable systems. The role is remote within Spain only.
Responsibilities
Design and implement AI-driven solutions that automate business processes and improve service delivery.
Build production-grade GenAI applications including LLM-powered features, AI agents, copilots, and orchestration layers.
Develop and integrate AI agents and multi-agent systems using orchestration frameworks.
Build APIs and microservices that expose AI capabilities, following architecture and security standards.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, ITSM, data warehouse, identity, and observability stacks.
Implement governance and security controls including data classification, PII handling, prompt injection defenses, content filtering, audit logging, and RBAC.
Contribute to responsible AI practices and translate principles into engineering standards and reusable patterns.
Requirements
4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 1–2 years building and shipping AI/ML or Generative AI solutions in production.
Microsoft Copilot Studio is a low-code, end-to-end conversational AI platform designed for building, testing, and managing AI-powered agents and workflows. It enables users to integrate business data, create custom copilots, and publish them across various channels to automate business processes.
Deep practical experience with LLMs and GenAI: foundation models, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, and context management.
Hands-on experience building agents, copilots, or multi-agent workflows.
Strong production-quality Python including typing, testing, packaging, and async patterns.
Experience deploying and operating AI workloads on Azure: Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI Search.
Experience with REST/gRPC APIs, event-driven patterns, API design, and versioning.
MLOps fundamentals: experiment tracking, model and prompt versioning, automated evaluation, and monitoring.
Familiarity with multiple LLM providers and adapting to provider-specific patterns.
Fluency in English, written and spoken.
Nice to Have
Experience extending or integrating Microsoft 365 Copilot; building custom copilots and agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Experience with embedded/on-platform AI tooling such as ServiceNow Now Assist or similar ITSM AI capabilities.
Strong communication skills for explaining technical decisions to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
