Mars Incorporated is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to lead rapid prototyping and PoC delivery for Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations in Warsaw. This hybrid role combines agile software delivery, frontline business engagement, and hands-on AI product engineering to de-risk the development of production-ready AI solutions. The ideal candidate will embed with operational teams to translate business bottlenecks into technical requirements and build scalable AI architectures.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to map operational bottlenecks and define technical requirements.
- Design, write, and deploy robust AI prototypes using Python, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent system workflows.
- Build API integrations connecting AI applications to shop-floor platforms (e.g., Poka, Weaver, MES) and enterprise systems like SAP ERP.
- Ingest, clean, and structure messy real-world data from databases, telemetry streams, and unstructured files.
- Act as Scrum Master for prototyping work, managing backlog prioritization and rapid feedback iterations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience delivering software, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building GenAI solutions using LLM APIs, vector databases, and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
