Libra, a legal AI company now part of Wolters Kluwer, is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build end-to-end AI-powered product features for lawyers across Europe. You will work with LLM APIs, RAG systems, and agent orchestration to create secure, performant legal AI experiences. This is a high-ownership role based in Berlin with hybrid work flexibility.

• Design, implement, and maintain AI-driven product features end-to-end using LLM APIs
• Develop chat-based UX flows and non-visible AI integrations
• Build and optimize RAG systems, including document parsing, semantic chunking, and retrieval pipelines
• Build scalable backend systems using FastAPI and modern Python tooling
• Design and implement agent orchestration systems for complex legal workflows
• Build infrastructure for evaluations and benchmarking, including continuous monitoring and alerting
• Ensure high security, reliability, and data privacy standards
• Collaborate with Product and Legal Engineering to prototype and refine AI use cases
• Stay updated with new models, tools, and techniques, including AI coding agents

• Deep experience building products that integrate large language models (LLMs) via APIs
