Fundraise Up is looking for a Senior ML Engineer to build a client intelligence initiative from scratch. You will design data pipelines, scrapers, and ML models to score and analyze potential clients globally. This end-to-end role involves working closely with sales and deploying models into Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Build a market intelligence database by collecting and enriching data from various sources
- Design and operate web scrapers to extract signals from nonprofit websites
- Develop classification models (e.g., 'Is this website for fundraising?')
- Integrate financial data from registries and third-party APIs
- Deploy scoring models into Salesforce
- Monitor client websites for correct implementation of Fundraise Up tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of ML/DS experience in production
- Strong expertise in classical ML (especially gradient boosting) and modern NLP/LLM
- Experience with large-scale web scraping and data pipeline construction
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Metrics-driven approach connecting ML metrics to business outcomes
