Intuit seeks a Principal AI Engineer to build AI-native products from 0 to 1. The role involves shaping technical roadmaps, building end-to-end solutions, and mentoring AI talent. Focus on LLMs, multi-modal models, and AI agents.

• Shape and execute on a multi-year technical roadmap in partnership with Intuit’s AI leadership; Build end-to-end solutions that demonstrate how latest AI advances drive transformative customer experiences; Collaborate with business units and platform teams to accelerate testing and deployment; Ensure excellence in data quality, model evaluation, and lifecycle management; Champion responsible AI practices; Mentor and grow AI talent; Contribute through publications, patents, talks, or open source.

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research or related discipline; Deep technical AI expertise in training LLMs, reasoning models, multi-modal models and their application to Forecasting, Planning, Decision Making Under Uncertainty, Multi-objective Optimization, Learning from Human Feedback, Data Cognition, and Deep Personalization; 8+ years developing and deploying AI solutions at scale; AI tools fluency (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex); Strong CS/Data Science fundamentals; Customer obsession with experience running A/B tests, prototypes.

• Experience building large-scale ML applications on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
