Fidelity Investments is hiring a Principal AI/ML Engineer to build scalable, production-ready AI solutions for its Fidelity Institutional business. The role centers on LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI frameworks applied to lead generation, intelligent product recommendations, and client engagement. You will also establish MLOps, monitoring, and governance practices while partnering with business and technology teams. Note: immigration sponsorship is not provided, and Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production AI/ML solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI frameworks
- Build scalable data foundations, APIs, and cloud-based AI infrastructure
- Establish monitoring, governance, and MLOps practices to ensure performance and scalability
- Partner with business and technology teams to translate complex challenges into impactful solutions
- Evaluate emerging technologies and apply them to deliver measurable business outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of software or AI/ML engineering experience, including deploying AI solutions in production
