Swingtech is seeking a Mid-Level AI/ML Engineer to develop and sustain AI-enabled solutions for the Department of Labor. The role focuses on building RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and model integration layers using Python and modern LLM frameworks. Candidates will collaborate with senior engineers to deliver secure, compliant, and measurable AI capabilities in a hybrid setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI/ML applications, APIs, and data-processing components
- Build RAG capabilities including ingestion, embeddings, vector indexing, and retrieval
- Implement agentic features and workflow automations with safe failure handling
- Support model development, fine-tuning, evaluation, and production monitoring
- Participate in CI/CD, MLOps, and security scanning processes
- Create technical documentation and support operational monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, or related field
- 3+ years relevant experience, with 2+ in AI/ML implementation
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and Git
- Experience with ML frameworks, LLM APIs, RAG, or NLP
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
