Data Scientist - AI Products

EchoStar is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join its AI Office, bridging data science and business outcomes. The role involves building production-grade GenAI and machine learning solutions, including customer segmentation, churn prediction, and LLM-based workflow automation. Responsibilities include transforming large-scale structured and unstructured data into actionable insights, architecting cloud-based solutions, and providing technical mentorship.

• Partner with stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities and demonstrate business value
• Deliver production-ready machine learning models for customer segmentation, churn prediction, and lifetime value estimation
• Architect and deploy GenAI and LLM solutions to automate complex workflows such as transcript analysis and compliance validation
• Transform large-scale structured and unstructured data into actionable insights for product strategy and user modeling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, cloud-based solutions and provide technical mentorship
• Communicate complex models and findings through intuitive dashboards and presentations

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field
• 6+ years of experience in data science and applied machine learning
