Adobe's Risk Platform is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build ML models and the low-latency platform that detects and mitigates fraud and abuse across surfaces like Commerce, Stock, and Firefly. The role covers the full ML lifecycle—data engineering, model development, and real-time inference—and involves experimenting with LLMs and agentic AI to improve detection.
Responsibilities
- Own the ML lifecycle end-to-end: data engineering, offline model development, and real-time inference.
- Turn behavioral, device, and transaction signals into features that sharpen detection.
- Track precision, recall, false positives, and business impact; experiment with new approaches including LLMs and agentic AI.
- Own the production platform serving models: APIs, SDKs, feature stores, and integration points.
- Partner with fraud investigators, Trust & Safety, and platform teams to turn new fraud patterns into defenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Statistics, ML, or equivalent experience.
- Deep experience with ML techniques (supervised/unsupervised learning, anomaly detection, ensembles) applied to fraud or risk detection.
- 5+ years building production ML systems and scalable backend services.
