ML Engineer

Docker is hiring an ML Engineer as a founding engineer on the Intelligence team to build ML systems for governance and security in AI agent execution. You will design and ship production systems for prompt injection detection, anomaly detection, trust scoring, and policy recommendations.

• Design, train, evaluate, and ship ML systems for governance and security.
• Build data pipelines, feature stores, model serving, and evaluation harnesses.
• Make build-vs-buy decisions and set technical direction.
• Help recruit and mentor team members.

• 5+ years of applied ML/AI expertise with production systems.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience in backend or infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience with LLM-based systems in production.

• Experience in fraud, abuse, safety, security, or trust domains.
• Familiarity with agent / MCP ecosystem.
