Clera is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join its early-stage, Y Combinator-backed team in Stockholm. You will focus on backend scalability and optimizing LLM/AI agent workflows to directly impact platform performance. This hands-on role requires shipping production code, owning end-to-end technical challenges, and collaborating closely in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend systems and services
- Tune and iterate on LLM integrations and AI agent orchestration
- Own end-to-end technical challenges from architecture to production deployment
- Collaborate with a small, fast-moving engineering team
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience delivering scalable systems
- Hands-on experience optimizing LLMs and AI agent workflows in production
- Proven track record of shipping software over time
- Experience at fast-growing startups with a high-agency mindset
- Based in or eligible to relocate to Stockholm
